Takeo Hamada graduated from the University of Tokyo with BE and ME degrees in Electrical Engineering in 1984 and 1986, respectively. He has been with Fujitsu since 1986. From 1995 to the end of 1997, he was with the TINA-C core-team at Red Bank, NJ, where he worked on TINA service management and resource management architecture. He served as the service management WG leader during TINA-C phase II, between 1998 and 2000. He has been with
Fujitsu Labs. of America since 1998. His current research interests include network management, service management issues in IP network, Policy-Based Networking.
